Motorola C331t Cell Phone

The C331t is a small feature packed phone which looks really great, the design is something that the Motorola people should be proud of as it is very comfortable to hold & use. The weight of the little genius is light and about 100 gms only. The C331t works on AMPS 800, TDMA 800 and TDMA 1900 modes. The Li-Ion battery manages to give a decent performance by offering a talk time of 3 hours and a standby of 165 hours. The LCD display is grayscale (4 shades of gray) and has a size of 96 X 64 pixels. Though this may seem small, it does not cause any problems in reading or browsing. The antenna is of external stub type and navigation through the menus is by means of the four way navigation key. Phone book capacity is large and enough for even the heaviest of users at 400 contacts. The cell phone of course supports the multiple numbers per contact format allowing up to 6 numbers per entry, an email address can also be stored per contact. The user is given an option of selecting between 64 ringtones of which 32 are fixed and the remaining 32 are customizable. The phone supports both polyphonic as well as non-polyphonic ringtones and though I suppose that only the preset (fixed) ringtones are polyphonic, I cannot be sure regarding that, someone please clear up the matter in the forums. The ringtones can also be downloaded via SMS or created by the user himself using the inbuilt melody composer. 

The C331t also has all regular features such as a Calendar function, Calculator, Alarm and so on. Motorola / Samsung have often drawn flak from customers just because such standard functions have not been included while other fancy functions are present. It should be noted by the manufacturers that while people like fancy functions, they actually use these simple functions more. The C331t is data capable and also supports EMS / Picture message sending. Though the games that are included are not something out of the world, they are certainly something that will help for beating boredom and doing time pass. The phone supports two languages English as well as Spanish. Taking a break from the usual T9 support, Motorola has given the C331t iTAP predictive text input technology. Two way text messaging is supported and message templates are also present. Features such as voice dialing (25 entries) make your life easier whereas the voice memo function makes it easy to make little notes to ones self and this may also be quickly recording a number or address. 

Wireless Internet is based on the WAP 1.1 protocol. An extremely well designed phone with functions to match.
