Even
though Alltel is a major carrier, they are not considered a nationwide
wireless carrier. Alltel has plans that provide coverage throughout the
country, but Alltel is not available to everyone in the country. Alltel’s
focus and main customer base is in the southern states and customer’s
in the northern states will not be eligible to sign up with Alltel as
a provider.
